Abstract

When we move, motor neurones controlling muscles transmit information that cover a broad spectral range. Recent studies characterising large populations of motor neurones within a muscle have shown that muscles receive multiple inputs that do not directly contribute to force production.

The seminar will discuss how these inputs may relate to ongoing activity in the brain and how they can be used in biofeedback applications.
