Our complex and constantly changing world places the same demands on animals, humans, and artificial intelligence: Adaptable internal world models are required to fill in missing information and predict outcomes, enabling flexible behavior. The interdisciplinary conference across life, clinical, and computer sciences aims at discussing the status quo and prospects of this exciting line of research.
